Process Stages:

Below is a guide to the process you may expect when working through your project with us:

  • Initial consultation (either in our office or on site).
  • Fee proposal is forwarded to you with our “Conditions of Engagement”.
  • Establish the existing information, i.e. a measure up of the existing dwelling and site will be required for alterations and additions, search Council records, etc.
  • Develop proposal.  This may involve a number of meetings in our office with you, to find the best possible solution.
  • Resource Consent application if required.  Please note that an external planning consultant may be required for complex Resource Consent applications.
  • Working drawings and liaising with external consultants, i.e. structural engineers, fire engineers, etc.
  • Formulation of Building Consent application documentation and lodgement.
  • Tender (if desired).
  • Site Observations (By negotiation).
